Our Goal

At the 360° Fertility Center Zurich, our key goal is to help you achieve the pregnancy you have been longing for – in the shortest possible time and with as little stress as possible.

Treatment options

Hormon therapy

Regulation of the menstrual cycle to support natural ovulation through targeted medication. This treatment may take between three to six months to achieve full effectiveness.

Hormonal stimulation of the ovaries (using tablets or injections). Depending on the response, treatment can continue for six to twelve months.

Insemination (sperm transfer)

Placing of prepared sperm from the partner into the uterus (homologous insemination) to enhance the chances of conception.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

Egg retrieval from the ovaries and fertilization with sperm from the partner outside the female body.

  • After fertilization and cell division, usually one embryo is transferred to the uterus on day 3 to 5, exeptions for double transfers apply (blastocyst transfer = day 5 transfer).
  • Mild IVF / Mini-IVF: Lower hormone stimulation reduces the risk of hyperstimulation and minimizes medication costs.
  • Natural Cycle IVF: IVF can also be performed without hormone therapy, using naturally matured eggs.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)

For cases of severe male infertility, we combine IVF with intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). A single sperm cell is carefully injected into a mature egg to facilitate fertilization. The fertilized egg is then transferred to the uterus following the same procedure as IVF.

Carrier Screening - Genetic Screening for Couples

Carrier screening is a simple blood test (NGS = next-generation sequencing) for both partners. It helps detect hidden genetic predispositions for hereditary diseases before conception.

Although an actual risk only exists if both partners carry the same genetic condition, this occurs in about 2–5% of healthy couples. Some of the most common inherited conditions include:

  • Cystic fibrosis (affects ~1 in 20 individuals in Switzerland)
  • Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) (~1 in 50 individuals)

More than 2,000 genetic mutations are known today, and approximately 1 in 1,000 newborns is affected by an inherited disorder. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends informing all couples about this test, its benefits, limitations, and available alternatives.

By knowing their genetic risks, couples can make informed decisions about their family planning.

Minimal Invasive Surgery

Using gentle keyhole procedures (endoscopy), we perform hysteroscopy (uterine endoscopy) and laparoscopy (abdominal endoscopy) simultaneously. This allows for organ-preserving surgeries with excellent cosmetic results and minimal discomfort.

Common surgical indications for infertility include:

  • Endometriosis
  • Fibroids (Myomas)
  • Polyps
  • Asherman Syndrom
  • Congenital uterine abnormalities
  • Blocked fallopian tubes due to adhesions

Most patients experience rapid recovery with minimal post-operative pain
